About the event
In 2024, Gay4Nature Collective toured four unique venues to perform their original production of Bach’s coffee-themed musical about being true to yourself, and caffeine, “The Coffee Cantata.” Directed and costumed by Lore Andrea, the production is energizing, delicious, and oh so joyful – like a shot of espresso in auditory form. We are thrilled to welcome them to Salt Spring Island to perform this mini-opera for Salt Spring Baroque.
The concert program will be rounded out by excerpts from Lully's Atys, Pierre de la Garde's cantata La musette, and a J.S. Bach Flute Sonata.
